The current production capacity of the mine is 200,000 t/a of calcite, and the method of open-pit mining is adopted. Through this reconstruction and expansion, the scale is increased to 600,000 t/a. After the reconstruction and expansion, the first, second and fifth mining areas (scale of 25, 20 and 50,000 t/a respectively) are underground mining, and the third and fourth mining areas are open pit mining (scale of 50,000 t/a). The overall service life of the mine is 28.7 years. The total investment of the project is 20 million yuan. There are 186 underground workers and 50 in the open air. The annual work is 330d, three shifts a day underground, one shift a day in the open air, each shift is 8h.
